COOKIE POLICY
Clintell Technology, S. L. informs about the use of cookies on its webpage: https://clintell.io/
What are cookies?
Cookies are files that can be downloaded to your device through web pages. They are tools that play an essential role in providing numerous services in the information society. Among other things, they allow a webpage to store and retrieve information about a user’s or their device’s browsing habits and, depending on the information obtained, can be used to recognize the user and improve the offered service.
Types of cookies
Depending on the entity managing the domain from which cookies are sent and handling the data obtained, two types can be distinguished:
•First-party cookies: These are sent to the user’s device from a domain managed by the owner and from which the requested service is provided.
•Third-party cookies: These are sent to the user’s device from a domain that is not managed by the owner but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.
If cookies are installed from a device or domain managed by the owner but the information collected is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered first-party cookies.
There is also a second classification based on the time they remain stored in the client’s browser, which can be:
•Session cookies: Designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a webpage. They are usually used to store information that only needs to be kept for the duration of the service requested by the user in a single session (e.g., a list of purchased products).
•Persistent cookies: Data remains stored in the device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie manager, which can range from a few minutes to several years.
Additionally, a further classification can be made based on the purpose for which the data obtained through cookies is processed:
•Technical cookies: These allow the user to navigate through a webpage, platform, or application and use different options or services, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, completing a purchase, requesting registration or participation in an event, using security features while browsing, storing content for video or sound dissemination, or sharing content through social networks.
•Personalization cookies: Allow the user to access the service with some predefined general features based on a set of criteria in the user’s device, such as language, browser type, regional settings, etc.
•Analytics cookies: Allow the responsible entity to track and analyze the behavior of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of the websites, applications, or platforms and to create user browsing profiles, in order to make improvements based on the analysis of the usage data from the users of the service.
